He hadn't been too worried, thinking Demelza would probably have told him right off if there were something wrong, but still, Galen relaxes a little when she says that everything is fine. As isolated as he's been since arriving in Darrow, there are few people here he cares about as much as her, and the last thing he wants is for anything to happen to the baby. Not that he'd wish that sort of thing on anyone, but especially people like Demelza and Ross don't deserve to have to go through something like that.

"Yeah, I guess that's a pretty big change," he says with a slight exhale of a laugh. "Especially once you factor all of that technology into it."
