"It sounds like you like it there," Katie says, smiling. It's good to hear. One way or another, most people have to work, and a lot of them don't have the luxury of enjoying their work. Serving at a restaurant means long hours on her feet, but Demelza seems not to mind too much, which is nice. Katie hates to think of her hating her job, even if that's the reality for so many people. It shouldn't have to be.
